The NonProfit Edge
Leveraging the Power of Participation in Fund Development

Our challenge to you:

Are you making the most of your ability to fundraise?  Are you satisfied with current development efforts at both staff and board levels?

The purpose of this workshop is to:

• Inform and educate key stakeholders about the role
of the development function in the organization
• Provide tools and skills to all involved so they can
support the development function in an appropriate way
• Dislodge limiting beliefs and establish a new mindset that can catapult  the organizatioon to new levels of effectiveness

What we won't do:

Our approach does not add work, or demand additional resources.

What we will do:

We have developed a unique and highly effective approach of working with your existing staff and/or board and key stakeholders.  In our workshops, we uncover any negative or ambivalent attitudes towards the work of development and fundraising.  We lift the individual and group attitude to one of interest, confidence and participation. We aim to enhance any nonprofit's existing development plan by insuring that it is fully understood and supported by all key stakeholders.

In an ideal organization, the work of fundraising is held by everyone, not just the Executive Director, Development Director, or one or two staff or board members.

Each member in this ideal environment:

• Has the knowledge and ability to be a major representative of the organization.

• Is trained and well-versed in development and fundraising efforts, goals, and plans

• Is familiar with the mission, and is able to deliver key messages to any potential donor

What our clients say:

"If you are feeling like you are alone in the wilderness because no one else on your staff (and/or your board) speaks the language of development, and they all give you the "not my problem" look when the conversation turns to how to raise the funds to run their programs, this workshop is definitely for you.  If your staff is more sophisticated about development and ready to learn (as were my wonderful colleagues) then this is the workshop for them.  I invite you to contact Andy and Louise to learn more about this powerful opportunity to start transforming how your nonprofit approaches fundraising.  I believe it will be well worth it."
